Student athletes: try out for Hawks basketball, golf, softball, volleyball

Do you have what it takes to become a Hawk?

Several HFC varsity teams are looking to add players for the 2021-22 season. All positions are open, says HFC Athletic Director Rochelle Taylor.

"We are looking for students with playing experience to add to our really solid teams returning from last year,” she said.

Specifically, HFC is looking for students to try out for its softball, golf, women’s basketball, and volleyball teams for the 2021-22 season.

Softball

Women: The HFC softball team is coming off an impressive season, which included a Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA). Contact Coach Steve Brown at 313-657-3200 or sjbrown@hfcc.edu.

Golf

Co-ed: The HFC golf team is the only co-ed sport in the HFC athletics program. Contact Coach Jake Kieronski at 734-486-0859 or jmkieronski1@hfcc.edu.

Women's basketball

Women: The HFC women’s basketball team will be competing this fall after a one-year hiatus last season. Contact Coach Bill Schnorenberg at 734-660-7697 or wtschnorenberg@hfcc.edu.

Volleyball
