Students in HFC’s architecture/construction technology (ACT), energy technology, and interior design programs joined together to build and design the “Tiny Home for Tiny Tots.”

When Breanna Allen joined the Engineering Club at HFC, she was the only woman in the room. “When I showed up for my first meeting, people didn’t understand why I was there,” recalled Allen. “They seemed to think I was lost or looking for someone."

First of its kind program offers no-cost option, and a ready-made job, for students interested in becoming a medical assistant.
