Join us for the Student Outreach and Support open house

HFC Student Outreach and Support (SOS) welcomes all students to its open house on Wednesday, September 30, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Learning Success Center (Building A on the main campus). Employees are welcome also.

SOS provides many services to help you succeed at HFC, including:

• Perkins Grant (provides additional funding for eligible students)
• Personal and career counseling
• A series of workshops (such as time management, stress management, note-taking strategies, test-taking strategies)

Other HFC departments and services that will be present at the open house:

• Assisted Learning Services
• Career Services
• Counseling
• Learning Lab
• Writing Center

There will be tables with information about each department and service at the open house. Passports will be given to each student to complete as you visit each table. When you complete your passport by getting it stamped at each table, you will be entered into a raffle to win one of two $50 Visa gift cards.
