Notice of Special Meeting of the HFC Board of Trustees

A Special Meeting of the Henry Ford College Board of Trustees (“The Board”) will commence on Monday, March 23, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will take place at Henry Ford College in the Administrative Services and Conference Center in the Rosenau Conference Rooms, 5101 Evergreen Road, Dearborn, Michigan 48128. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the presidential search. The Board may convene a Closed Session, if necessary, pursuant to MCL 15.268(1)(h): “to consider material exempt from discussion or disclosure by state or federal statute, and receive a legal opinion from General Counsel.”

If you are an individual with a disability who needs an amplifier or any other form of auxiliary aid or service to participate in the meeting, please contact the President’s Office at 313-845-9650 as soon as possible.

This notice was posted by Patti Flogaus, Executive Assistant to the President, to comply with Sections 4 and 5 of the Michigan Open Meetings Act (MCL 15.265) on Henry Ford College website and on building entry doors available to the public and employees at least 18 hours prior to the start of the meeting.

Public Comments / Citizen Participation

Citizens wishing to address the Board on agenda and non-agenda items for action, who have submitted a blue card to the Secretary before the meeting begins, may speak at this time. The Board may not be in a position to respond to non-agenda items; therefore, speakers should not anticipate an immediate response to their comments or questions. For the benefit of all concerned, do not mention the names of students or College employees. Please limit comments to three minutes.
