Culinary Wellness Café is open for the semester
HFC’s Culinary Wellness Café will open on Wednesday, February 12, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. It will be open during the Winter 2025 semester on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays until Thursday, May 1.
Inside the Skylight Café and just outside the Fifty-One O One student-run restaurant in the John McDonald Student and Culinary Arts Center (Building M on the main campus), the Culinary Wellness Café offers great lunch options at $7 for a meal including one side dish. There are usually three main options and three side options.
The menu rotates on a weekly basis. Halal options are also available. Italian food will be featured the first week.
First week fare
The first week's meal options include:
- Spaghetti and Meatballs: Served with tomato sauce and a mini-Caesar salad or vegetarian Barilla Plus spaghetti with tomato sauce and one side option.
- Meatball Sub: Served on a wholegrain bun with one side option.
- Chicken Caesar Salad: Caesar salad with reduced fat dressing and house-made wholegrain croutons, and chickpeas or chicken with one side option.
Extra sides cost $3 and include:
- A mini-Caesar salad
- Fresh fruit
- Chili con carne
- A side of spaghetti

Each week, the Culinary Wellness Café will have a different theme:
- February 18: Tex-Mex
- February 25: Mediterranean
- March 4: Asian
- March 18: California
- March 25: Modern Comfort
- April 1: Italian
- April 8: Tex-Mex
- April 15: Mediterranean
- April 29: California
