Summer Research Opportunities Symposium for students
The HFC School of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) will host a Summer Research Opportunities Symposium on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Honors Hub, Room K-103 on the first floor of the Reuther Liberal Arts Building (Building K on the main campus).
At this symposium, you will hear from speakers sharing tips about how to create an effective application letter and how to revise your CV to be more research-focused. You will also hear success stories and get an overview of a day in the life of an undergraduate researcher.

“I encourage students to attend this symposium,” said HFC School of STEM Dean Janice Gilliland. “This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about summer research opportunities for HFC students studying in the STEM fields and other fields.”
No prior research experience is necessary. Any HFC student interested in summer opportunities is welcome.
