Fifty One-O One hosts Seafood Buffet Feb. 15

The HFC student-run restaurant in the Student and Culinary Arts Center, Fifty-One O One, is open for the semester! See regular hours and info here.

The restaurant will host its first special event of the season, the Shrimp and Soul Seafood Buffet, on Wednesday, Feb. 15, in the Student & Culinary Arts Center (Bldg. M) on the main campus.

The hours for Shrimp and Soul, which will cost $19.95/person, are:

  • 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (lunch)
  • 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. (dinner)

The menu is a “feast for the soul”

  • Smoke-roasted pork loin with peace BBQ sauce
  • Beer-battered cod
  • Country-fried boneless chicken breast
  • Mac ’n Cheese Station (with mix-ins)
  • Southern style green brains
  • Black-eyed peas
  • Rice
  • Sweet potato casserole
  • Shellfish clam chowder
  • Peel & eat shrimp
  • Mustard potato salad
  • Creamy coleslaw

Bakery specialty items include:

  • Corn muffins
  • Pecan pie
  • Peach cobbler
  • Red velvet cake
  • Mississippi mud pie
  • Buttermilk pie

A salad bar is included in the price of the buffet. It features mixed green, pickled and fresh vegetables, and house dressings. Coffee, tea, or soft drinks are also included in the price. Beer and wine are available separately for purchase.

Reservations recommended

Parking is free. When arriving, please park in the Campus Safety lot or adjacent faculty lots. Also, customers should notify Campus Safety that they are dining at Fifty-One O One.
