Siena Heights University offers Get Started Grant for HFC grads

The Siena Heights University Get Started Grant provides up to $1,000 toward the completion of a bachelor’s degree at SHU for HFC graduates who enroll in either the Summer 2022 or Fall 2022 Semesters.

“Our Get Started Grant is an encouraging nudge for students who are looking to continue their education. Because we accept up to 90 transfer credits into our degree programs, HFC graduates may only have to take 10 classes with SHU to earn their bachelor's degree,” said SHU President Sister Peg Albert.

SHU is a University Partner

SHU is one of HFC’s university partners in its University Center, which was established in 2014. Some of the important benefits for HFC students include:

  • Undergraduate and graduate classes through SHU offered at HFC (the grant can only be applied toward SHU Global undergraduate programs)
  • 100% online degree programs available in the evening, weekend, and through hybrid classes
  • Personalized advising
  • Transfer-friendly policies and guarantees
