Men’s Hawks end season as #6 in the nation

Update, March 19

The #7 Hawks finished their season with a 95-76 loss to Lakeland CC in a finals-day matchup. The loss means the Hawks were #6 in the NJCAA national championship tournament.

Update, March 18

The #7 Hawks bounced back and beat #6 Cecil College, 86-78, to make it to the final round of the NJCAA National Championship Tournament on Saturday, March 19. The team will play Lakeland CC at 3:00 EST (2:00 CST) for fifth place in the tournament. This is the Hawks' first trip to the final day of the NJCAA National Championship Tournament.

Update, March 16

The #7 Hawks lost a close game on March 16 to #2 Davidson-Davie, 66-63. It was called "the most competitive game of the tournament so far." The Hawks will play their next game at 2:00 EST on Friday, March 18. This will be an elimination game against either Sullivan County or Cecil College. The winner of that game will move on to play at 2:00 on Saturday.

#7 Men's Hawks come from behind to defeat #10 Niagara County Community College, 86-79. Their next game is tonight, Wednesday, March 16, at 9:00 EST (8:00 CST)

The Hawks are back in the national tournament! The team won the Great Lakes District B Championship last week, and will advance to the NJCAA Division II Championship tournament at the Mary Miller Center in Danville, IL, March 15-19. This follows up on last year's trip to the national tournament.

The Hawks are the 7th seed in the 16-team tournament. HFC will play #10 seed Niagara County Community College on Tuesday, March 15th at 9:30 p.m. EST (8:30 p.m. local time in Danville, IL)

Tickets are $10.00 each day.
Children 6 and under are free for all games.
$30.00 tournament pass good for all games.
