The HFC Wellness Series will present the virtual workshop, “Understanding Gender Identity,” on Wednesday, April 20, at 2:00 p.m.

Therapist Lewis Perdicou of the Toronto-based Shift Collab, one of Canada’s largest group psychotherapy practices, will facilitate this virtual workshop.

Awareness and action to support a variety of gender identities is part of campus culture at HFC and other colleges. The interplay between someone’s mental health and gender identity is not always understood. This virtual workshop will help you learn how to make sure LGBTQ students feel safe and supported, how to help others become allies, and how to foster a culture of respect and dignity throughout your campus community.
