HFC Chef de Cuisine Joseph E. Cosenza will be one of many featured culinary professionals to participate in the Detroit Free Press Wine & Food Experience Saturday, Sept. 14, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Cadillac Square in Detroit.

The Wood & Wine Experience is a USA Today network event and part of a 10-city tour celebrating the best chefs, wine, and food in our communities. This year marks its third year in Detroit.

This event presents rich and colorful moments for guests to taste, savor, and explore the Detroit culinary scene, whether its local trends or regional traditions. It features a gourmet showcase by local chefs, emerging talent, and nationally renowned culinary leaders who mingle with patrons in a convivial setting.

There will also be cooking demonstrations and chef meet and greets. Those who purchase a VIP pass will be admitted an hour early and have the opportunity to mix and mingle with chefs.

Among the celebrity talent are:

• Alex Guarnaschelli, Food Network star of Chopped and The Next Iron Chef: Redemption
• David Lynch, editor of Wine & Spirits Magazine
• Brie and Nikki Bella, WWE champions, winemakers, and stars of E!’s Total Bellas and Total Divas

Fifty-One O One will have a booth at the event with Cosenza providing samples of his culinary abilities.

“This is our third year participating, it’s a fun event for us to get out in front of guests and spend time with other chefs in the area,” said Cosenza.

In the past year, Cosenza has appeared on FOX 2 and Local 4.

Tickets cost $65 to $140 and can be purchased here. For questions or further information, contact Cynthia Dunne at info@fleurcomgroup.com.
