Enrollment Lab One Stop

The Welcome Center's Enrollment Lab One Stop is a cutting-edge enrollment services operation, one of the first one-stop service centers among community colleges. Our cross-trained staff offers comprehensive one-stop enrollment service to students.

In addition to the Enrollment Lab, the Welcome Center building has many student-focused offices for your convenience.


HFC is a unique and diverse campus, and we welcome students who are interested in studying in the United States. Our International Student Services Office is ready to help you apply and begin your studies.

Veterans Services

The Office of Veterans Services helps veterans, active duty students, their spouses and dependents and active duty military personnel through the VA benefit enrollment process.

Assessment Center

The Assessment Center offers course placement exams as well as proctored exams for online hybrid courses. You can take these tests at your convenience at the Assessment Center.


Before registering, students must complete orientation. HFC offers information packed orientation sessions in-person or online.

University Center

Save time and money while remaining close to home! Through the HFC University Center Students in select transfer programs can take classes at HFC, then stay on the HFC campus to complete their 4-year degree.


The Office of Academic Advising helps students with academic planning from selecting courses to preparing for graduation and transfer paths.

Student ID Cards

Notice: Our Student ID Card procedures have changed due to COVID-19. Please see Student ID cards available M-TH on the main campus for more details.

Go to the Campus Safety desk in the Welcome Center (WC) to get your free student ID card. Please bring a photo ID and a copy of your HFC class schedule. Then register your student ID card at the HFC Library (B) for access to the library and online research resources.
