Transfer agreements allow students to complete an associate degree program at HFC and transfer to a related program at a baccalaureate college or university with a minimum loss of credit or duplication of coursework. Most transfer agreements use the MACRAO agreement/Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) to meet general education requirements at the transfer institution. Every transfer agreement includes a transfer agreement guide, which lays out the specific courses to take in order to complete both the associate degree and bachelor’s degree programs.
