Join HFC Career Services Officer Chad Austin for “What Really Matters in Your Career?” on Monday, October 12, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. in the Career Services Office (Room A-121) in the Learning Success Center (Building A on the main campus).

"Choosing a career is about much more than finding a job," said Austin. "It's about finding a path that aligns with your values, interests, priorities, and lifestyle."

Factors to consider when thinking about your career:

  • Will you earn a good or high salary?
  • Will you have time for family and friends?
  • How long will your commute be?
  • Will there be variety and excitement in your work?
  • Will you be helping others?
  • What about job security?
  • Will there be opportunities for advancement?

During this interactive session, you'll explore the factors that influence career satisfaction and gain practical insights into your own values and priorities. You'll leave with tangible tools and a better understanding of what truly matters to you as you make decisions about your career and work-life balance.
