First-ever HFC Virtual Business Career Fair

HFC Career Services will host its first Virtual Business Career Fair on Thursday, November 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This all-new undertaking is the largest virtual recruiting event ever undertaken by our Career Services team, and it is expected to have a broad reach and appeal to many people interested in possible business careers.

All employer and student/alumni interactions will take place through the Handshake platform, making this a fully virtual recruiting experience. This career fair is designed to connect students and alumni from our business programs in the HFC School of Business, Entrepreneurship, and Professional Development (BEPD) with employers seeking talent in:

  • Accounting
  • Business administration
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Facilities and sports center management
  • Finance
  • Human Resources
  • Management
  • Marketing
  • Paralegal studies
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Other business-related fields

"We are excited to partner with Handshake to make this opportunity available to our students and employer partners," said HFC Career Services Officer Chad Austin. "This event is a new initiative designed to connect employers with students and graduates from our business programs. This will be a very targeted recruiting opportunity and we look forward to helping employers build meaningful connections with our talented students and alumni."

What can you expect?

Employers will host both:

  • Group information sessions
  • Individual one-on-one recruiting sessions

These sessions give you the opportunity to:

  • Learn about employers and career opportunities.
  • Ask questions about companies and positions.
  • Explore internships and employment opportunities.
  • Make professional connections with recruiters.
  • Practice your networking skills in a virtual environment.

To participate, students and alumni need to do the following:

  1. Log in to your Handshake account.
  2. Search for the HFC Virtual Business Job Fair 2026.
  3. Review participating employers.
  4. Register for group sessions and individual recruiting appointments.
  5. Reserve your spot(s) early, as session availability may be limited.

To ensure a high-quality experience for both employers and participants, registration will be limited. Career Services can only accommodate a select number of employers for this event.

We encourage everyone – students, alumni, and employers – to register early. Available spots are filling quickly, and once capacity is reached, registration will close.
