Join us for a Personal Statement Workshop on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Honors Hub (Room K-103) on the first floor of the Reuther Liberal Arts Building (Building K on the main campus).

Respondents (writing coaches) from the Writing Center will lead this workshop, where you will learn how to craft a compelling, authentic personal statement that highlights your unique experiences and strengths.

Whether you're applying for scholarships, transfer programs, or internships, this workshop will provide personalized guidance and proven strategies to make your personal statement stand out. Don't miss this opportunity to elevate your application materials and achieve your academic goals!

The Personal Statement Workshop is sponsored by the Henry Ford II Honors Program, the Transfer Bridges to Michigan Program, and the HFC Writing Center.

This workshop is free and open to HFC students. For questions or more information, contact Chardin Claybourne at cclaybourne@hfcc.edu.
