HFC Student Outreach and Support (SOS) welcomes all students and employees to an open house on Wednesday, September 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Learning Success Center (Building A on the main campus).

SOS provides the following services to help you succeed, including:

  • Personal and career counseling
  • Emergency funding
  • A series of workshops (time management, stress management, note-taking strategies, test-taking strategies)

Other HFC departments and services will also be on-site:

There will be tables with information about each department and service at the open house. Passports will be given to each student to complete as you visit each table. When you complete your passport by getting it stamped at each table, you will be entered into a raffle where you can win one of two $50 Visa gift cards.

“This open house is to let students, faculty, and staff know about all of the services we provide to students in Building A,” said HFC counselor Dr. Brenda Hildreth.
