Student veterans: come meet fellow service members!

The HFC Student Veterans Association (SVA) will host a gathering with student veterans on Friday, February 2, from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. in Room M-119 of the John McDonald Student & Culinary Arts Center (Building M on the main campus).

“This event is a morale booster, allowing student veterans the opportunity to get to know each other, as well as discuss upcoming meetings and future activities,” said SVA faculty advisor Robert James.

The SVA is also hoping to fill the following positions:

  • Vice President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer

Student veterans at HFC are encouraged to speak to HFC Veterans Services Supervisor Dawn Hestand about their veterans benefits. Hestand can be reached at 313-845-9688 or dmhestand@hfcc.edu.
