Holiday buffet spread of turkey, squash, pie, veggies.

HFC's student-run Fifty-One O One restaurant will hold its annual Holiday Buffet in the John McDonald Student and Culinary Arts Center (Building M on the main campus) on Wednesday, Nov. 13.

The restaurant will be open for lunch and dinner:

  • 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

The menu will include:

  • Roast turkey (with pan gravy and bread dressing)
  • Baked Dearborn Brand Ham (glazed with raisin cider sauce)
  • Roast Beef Bordelaise
  • Harvest squash soup
  • Mashed potatoes
  • Sweet potatoes (with pecans and maple glaze)
  • Fall vegetable medley

There will also be a salad bar, where you can choose among:

  • Citrus kale salad
  • Marinated beet salad
  • Carrot raisin salad
  • Garden green salad
  • Cranberry relish
  • Pickled and fresh vegetables
  • House-made dressings

For dessert:

  • Pumpkin roll
  • Assorted seasonal pies
  • Assorted tortes and other treats

The cost of the buffet is $21.95 per person (this includes coffee, tea, or soft drinks). Craft beer and wine will be available for purchase at both lunch and dinner if you are 21 or older with a valid photo ID.
