Open auditions for the Hawkster, HFC’s official mascot, Sept. 14-15

Room M-119, Student & Culinary Arts Center (Bldg. M)

The HFC Student Activities office is looking for a creative, energetic, and enthusiastic student or two to be the Hawkster, HFC’s official mascot!

Auditions for the Hawkster will be held in Room M-119 of the Student & Culinary Arts Center (Building M) on the main campus on the following dates:

Wednesday, Sept. 14, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 15, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Qualifications

No experience is needed. Qualifications to be the Hawkster include:

Good physical condition
Good academic standing with HFC
Height of about 5' 5" to 6 feet. (165 cm to 183 cm) -- to fit into the costume
Weight up to about 200 lbs. -- to fit into the costume
Dedicated
Creative
Energetic
Enthusiastic
Positive attitude

If you are interested and meet the qualifications, please attend one of the audition dates. A $250 stipend will be provided at the end of the Fall 2022 semester if you are able to attend most specified events as the Hawkster.
