HFC’s Atherton is the MCCAA Eastern Conference Softball Player of the Week

Congratulations to MCCAA Eastern Conference Softball Player of the Week Anna Atherton.

Freshman Anna Atherton, who plays first base for the HFC softball team, has been the Michigan Community College Athletic Association Eastern conference Softball Player of the Week for the week ending April 2.

The New Boston-based Huron High School alumna hit .467 (7 for 15) for four games with four doubles, three homeruns, six RBIs, eight runs scored, and one walk.

“Anna is a very talented student athlete who plays hard,” said Coach Steven Brown. “I’m really proud of her.”
