HFC hosts 2021 softball prospect camp June 23

High school athletes have the opportunity to improve their game at the 2021 softball prospect camp on Wednesday, June 23, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Sprague Memorial Park in Heritage Park, 1211 Pardee in Taylor. The cost is $100. Please register online.

Athletes will have the opportunity to work with the coaching staff of the HFC softball team and hone their skills to become the best player they can. The camp will include:

  • Defensive skills
  • Hitting offensive strategy
  • Pitching
  • Catching

The itinerary is:

  • 9:00 to 9:15 a.m.: Check-in and stretch
  • 9:15 to 9:30 a.m.: Warm up
  • 9:30 to 9:50 a.m.: Timed run and agility training
  • 9:50 to 10:10 a.m.: Throwing evaluation
  • 10:10 to 10:50 a.m.: Infield/outfield drills
  • 11:00 to 11:30 a.m.: Pitching and catching drills
  • 11:30 a.m. to noon: Pitcher radar and catcher pop times
  • Noon to 2:00 p.m.: Hitting/offensive strategy/scrimmage game
