Students in postponed classes for Winter 2020 will not receive Incomplete grades

HFC logo in white on blue field

The Winter 2020 semester has come to a close, and thousands of Henry Ford College students were able to successfully complete their remote classes. Congratulations!

Not all classes were able to be converted to remote formats. For those HFC students whose Winter 2020 classes had to be postponed, we want you to know we are still working toward the time when we will be able to safely resume your classes. We do not know when that will be, but we will resume as soon as it is safe, and we will notify you in advance.

We also want you to know you will not receive a grade until you are able to complete your postponed classes.

You will not receive an incomplete ("I") grade for Winter semester. You will resume face-to-face instruction when it is safe to return to campus, and you will pick up where you left off in the postponed section(s). Therefore, no grades will be placed on your transcript for the postponed classes at the current time.
