HFC Softball wants YOU!!

Softball player at bat

The HFC Softball Team is looking to recruit experienced players for the 2021 season.

Softball is the only HFC varsity team looking to add players this year, and all positions are open, according to HFC Athletic Director Rochelle Taylor.

"We're looking for students – especially pitchers – with playing experience to add to a really solid team returning from last year,” said Coach Steve Brown.

Softball, which is one of three spring sports (with baseball and golf) at HFC, will proceed with its spring schedule as currently planned. Fall and winter sports have had their schedules altered due to the coronavirus.

Hawks softball provides an exciting and competitive opportunity for student athletes. HFC has won five Michigan Community College Athletic Association championships since 1977. Hawks softball players are consistently recognized with state athletic and academic honors.

If you are interested in joining the HFC softball team, please contact Coach Brown at 313-657-3200 or sjbrown@hfcc.edu. For questions or more information about HFC athletics, visit HenryFordHawks.com.
