More than 30 people – faculty, staff, administration – reminisced with HFC colleagues who’ve retired within the last year at the 2019 Retirement Luncheon May 3.

HFC President Russell Kavalhuna, attending his first retirement luncheon, acknowledged the efforts and dedication of the following retirees:
• Jan Artushin
John Carroll
• Becky Chadwick
Ken Donovan
• Alan Essenmacher
• Zanib Hazamy
• Stephen Himmel
• Harold Kelley
• Annette Klauke
• Theresa Mozug
• Lisa Pompa-Oppenlander
• Kim Schopmeyer
Patricia Sellers
• Denise Schulte
• Debbie Smith
• Michael Sterling
Mary Szymanski
• Tim Wancha

After making his opening remarks, Kavalhuna asked the retirees to stand and spoke briefly about their accomplishments during their time with the College and presented them with their retirement present.

“These people should be recognized publicly for what they’ve accomplished,” said Kavalhuna. “This luncheon and this gift are a small mark of appreciation for your time here.”
