Hawks' Nest Receives Record Food Donation

Two people attending to a food donation box.

Thanks to the forward thinking of instructors Anthony Perry and Robert Yahrmatter and the generosity of 300 students attending the Public Service Seminar at HFC on Feb. 18, the Hawks' Nest received 1,380 pounds of canned goods and personal care items. This marks the largest single-event donation in the Hawks' Nest history! The Nest also collected $195 from students at the event. Just as important, students were able to learn about the Nest and tour the facility.

Adding to the Hawks' Nest donations during the week of February 15th was an additional 500 pounds of canned goods collected through the athletic department's annual Hunger Games.
