If you are interested in transferring to the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts in Ann Arbor, the Transfer Bridges to Michigan is a robust transfer support program to help you gain a competitive edge for admission to U-M.

U-M Senior Transfer Recruiter Justin Villanueva, an HFC alumnus, will meet with students in the Advising Office on the first floor of the Welcome Center (Building WC on the main campus) during the Winter 2026 semester every Tuesday from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. from January 13 through April 21.

Transfer Bridges is designed for students of any major. It offers tailored advising, transfer support, and free experiential learning opportunities in the humanities at U-M, including opportunities to do undergraduate research, study at the U-M Biological Station, and participate in paid internships.

Villanueva can answer your questions about:

  • Admission to U-M and LSA
  • Program-specific admission
  • Transfer course equivalencies
  • Program requirements
  • General transfer questions

Villanueva is on our campus to help simplify and streamline your path to a successful transfer experience. Please stop by whenever your schedule permits.

If you want to set up a 1:1 in-person or Zoom meeting with Villanueva, fill out the Declaration of Interest form. Once you submit the form, he will email you to arrange a meeting.

For questions or more information, contact Villanueva at javil@umich.edu or Advising at advising@hfcc.edu.
