Presidential finalist schedules, feedback, and Board interview streaming
The HFC Board of Trustees invites the HFC community and the public to participate in open forums and interviews of the Presidential Search Finalists. All meetings, forums, and interviews will be held in-person on the HFC campus.
Finalists and interview dates
- March 25: L. Michael “Mickey” McCloud, Ph.D.
- March 26: David Knezek, MBA
- April 2: A. Reginald Best, D.Min.
Each candidate’s schedule will follow this pattern:
- 9:00-9:45 a.m. - Foundation Board Breakfast
- 10:00-10:45 a.m. - Local 71 and Exempt employees - Berry Amphitheatre
- 11:00-11:45 a.m. - SSA and DSOEA employees - Berry Amphitheatre or Forfa Auditorium
- 12:30-1:30 p.m. - Cabinet meet and greet / lunch
- 1:45-2:30 p.m. - Ambassadors / Student Council / Honors / Henry J. Bowers Focus Group / Detroit Promise - Student and Culinary Arts Center
- 2:45-3:15 p.m. - Dearborn Public Schools / Early College - Cabinet Conference Room
- 3:30-4:15 p.m. - Faculty Senate / 1650 Executive Board / AFO / Faculty Town Hall - Berry, Forfa, or Rosenau
- 4:30-5:30 p.m. - Community Town Hall public forum - Rosenau Rooms, first floor of L Building
- 6:00-7:00 p.m. - Board of Trustees Interview - Rosenau Rooms, first floor of L Building
Following the Candidate interviews, the College community and the public will have the opportunity to provide comments to the Board of Trustees through an anonymous comment form.
