Students: Get your new HFC ID today!
HFC Campus Safety is providing new ID cards for HFC students free of charge.
The main purpose of these ID cards is to identify yourself as an HFC student. There is no cost to receive your official HFC ID, but you must be currently registered for classes at the College.
You will need to come to campus to get your ID. We will take your photo. The entire process will take less than 15 minutes. You can obtain your new HFC ID card at the ID kiosk on the first floor of the Welcome Center (Building WC on the main campus):
- Mondays and Thursdays: 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. and 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
- Tuesdays and Wednesdays: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 to 4:30 p.m.
If none of these days and times work for you, after-hours arrangements can be made by reaching out to Campus Safety (Building N on the main campus).
How to obtain your new HFC ID
- Bring your driver’s license or other official form of photo ID and a copy of your current class schedule with your HFC student number (your student number is visible when you login to the student portal).
- We will take your photo.
- Your HFC ID will be created. Carry it with you whenever you are on campus.
There is no firm deadline to get a new HFC ID. If you have the old style of the HFC ID card, we recommend you get a new one. In the future, these IDs might be used for building access at certain times of day.

*NOTE: Henry Ford Early College students: You will get your new student ID cards through the Early College.
