The 57th Honors Symposium, or Honors Day, will be Friday, May 1.

The HFC Henry Ford II Honors Program will host its 57th Honors Symposium, or Honors Day, on Friday, May 1, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Rosenau Rooms on the first floor of the Andrew A. Mazzara Administrative Services & Conference Center (ASCC) (Building L on the main campus).

Honors Day showcases student research conducted during the semester under the guidance of an HFC faculty member. Up to 16 Honors Program students will participate in Honors Day, giving oral presentations on a variety of topics, and inviting audience discussion afterward.

“The Honors Symposium is always a wonderful event! Audience members often marvel at the breadth and depth of research our students accomplish over the course of the semester. Not to be forgotten are the efforts of the esteemed HFC faculty members, who serve not only as teachers, but also provide students with wise counsel and expertise, helping to smooth the wrinkles that may appear during this academic endeavor. If you are interested in seeing the intersection of scholarship and creativity, please join us at the Honors Symposium,” said HFC Director of the Honors Program Chardin Claybourne.

Light refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public. For questions or more information, contact Claybourne at cclaybourne@hfcc.edu.

We encourage you to support our students in person so you can interact and they can see an audience. We also offer an online option if you cannot attend in person.
