Join HFC Career Services Officer Chad Austin for an interactive workshop called “Don’t Let AI Write Your Future!” on Tuesday, September 15, from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. in the Career Services Office (Room A-121) in the Learning Success Center (Building A on the main campus).

Austin will show you how to create a résumé that stands out for the right reasons in this age when everyone seems to be using AI.

“AI tools can help create résumés in seconds, but can they tell your story?” said Austin.

In this workshop, you will learn how to create a résumé that reflects your real-world experiences, skills, and accomplishments, while avoiding the common mistakes many jobseekers make when using AI.

You'll discover:

  • What employers actually look for in a résumé.
  • How to highlight your strengths.
  • AI mistakes that can hurt your chances.
  • Tips for creating genuine, effective job search documents.
