The HFC Counseling center is hosting a seminar called “Start Your Semester Off Right” on Wednesday, January 15, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Room A-121 of the Learning Success Center (Building A on the main campus).

HFC counselor Wendie Lee-Jenkins will lead this seminar, which will help you:

  • Take charge of your college journey with practical tools to succeed academically and personally.
  • Learn how to build effective routines, set and achieve smart goals, and stay organized.
  • Master time management to overcome procrastination.
  • Unlock the secrets of your syllabus and read smarter with strategies like Survey, Questions, Read, Recite, and Review (SQ3R).
  • Build positive relationships with instructors and peers.
  • Discover how to embrace progress over perfection and boost your confidence.
