Phi Theta Kappa honor society information session
The HFC chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Alpha Xi Mu will hold an information session on Monday, September 22, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Berry Amphitheater (Room L-115) on the first floor of the Andrew A. Mazzara Administrative Services & Conference Center (ASCC) (Building L on the main campus).
During the information session, PTK faculty advisor Chardin Claybourne will discuss the benefits of PTK membership, leadership opportunities, and plans for the 2025-26 academic year.
PTK is an international honor society for community college students. Its high standards are based on the attributes of community service, leadership, fellowship, and scholarship. PTK members have gone on to major leadership roles at the national and international levels. All high-academic-achieving students at HFC are invited to consider membership. You do not need to be a member of the Henry Ford II Honors Program to join PTK, though many Honors Program students are PTK members.
This information session is open to current PTK members or anyone who is considering joining PTK. For questions or more information, contact Claybourne at 313-845-9818 or cclaybourne@hfcc.edu.
