Students, join our counselors for a meet-and-greet in the café

Deb Gates, a Licensed Professional Counselor at HFC, will host “Meet and greet with the counselors in the cafe” in the John McDonald Student and Culinary Arts Center (Building M on the main campus) from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.:

  • Monday, September 29, and Tuesday, September 30
  • Monday, October 27, and Tuesday, October 28
  • Monday, November 24, and Tuesday, November 25

In these sessions, Gates will speak about the services of HFC’s Counseling Center. Gates will also discuss stress-relief techniques.

“The Counseling Center is continuing the ‘meet and greet’ program after its successful turnout last year,” said Gates. “It’s a way that students can meet counselors and ask us questions. I will have a table with handouts relating to wellness and helpful hints to college success. I will also lead students in a breathing exercise. Hope to see you there!”
