HFC softball players garner post-season honors

Four student athletes from the HFC softball team earned post-season honors. The team finished sixth in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) Eastern Conference for the 2024-25 season.
“These players worked incredibly hard. This recognition is well-deserved, and we are proud to celebrate their individual success,” said HFC Associate Director of Athletics Kirk Bradley.
The honorees include:
- Chloe Solomon: The Belleville High School alumna was named MCCAA Second Team All-Eastern conference.
- Katelyn Postuma: The Carleton-based Airport High School alumna was named Honorable Mention All-Eastern Conference.
- Abigail “Abby” Smith: The New Haven High School alumna was named Honorable Mention All-Eastern Conference.
- Kylee Douglas: The Pinckney Community High School alumna was named Honorable Mention All-Eastern Conference.
Coach Steve Littleton, who completed his second season as head coach, is proud of his players.
“These student athletes worked hard all season to be leaders and to help the team compete,” said Littleton. “I’m going to miss Kylee and Katelyn as they move on to their next steps. They both helped me a lot and provided strong leadership these past two years. Chloe and Abby are solid players with huge upsides in potential, and I’m hoping they will lead our team in the same way next season.”
