The new-and-improved HFC Hammond Planetarium shows are back! From mid-September through mid-December, HFC will present eight shows at the Hammond Planetarium (Room J-102) in the Science Building (Building J on the main campus).

Here is a schedule of the shows, all of which will run from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. on the following dates:

All shows will be presented by local NASA Solar System Ambassadors Timothy Campbell and Liam Finn. The shows will be narrated live by HFC Chairperson for Media Communication Arts Susan McGraw, and the recorded voice of the late Dale Van Dorp, alias the “Voice of Dearborn.”

Please register in advance, and arrive 15 minutes early

"Several significant upgrades were made to the planetarium this summer that enhanced our celebrated seasonal shows and enabled entirely new features our presenters are eager to share with attendees. Whether you're a returning enthusiast or a first timer, the shows at the Hammond Planetarium this fall are sure to be stellar – no pun intended!” said HFC Planetarium director and physics and astronomy instructor Jesse Mason.

For safety reasons, the Planetarium will not admit latecomers after the doors close, so please arrive 15 minutes early (no later than 7:15 p.m.). Registration for all eight planetarium shows is not required, but is recommended. Open seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

All shows are free and open to the public. For questions or more information, contact planetarium@hfcc.edu.
