HFC welcomes you to “Get Out the Vote”
HFC Student Activities invites you to “Get Out the Vote: Student Voter Education Program” on Tuesday, October 7, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on the first floor of the Andrew A. Mazzara Administrative Services & Conference Center (ASCC) (Building L on the main campus).
If you’re feeling uncertain, unmotivated, or confused about how to be civically engaged as a student, this program can help! This program takes place during National Voter Education Week and includes a non-partisan voter education panel featuring representatives from:
- The League of Women Voters (LWV)
- The Michigan Secretary of State
- The NAACP
- Dearborn City Council
- ACCESS
The winner of the “Get Out the Vote” button design contest will be announced. There will also be:
- Voter resources, including a registration table
- Games
- Giveaways
- And more
Are you registered to vote?
If you are a U.S. citizen and you will be at least 18 years old by Election Day (Tuesday, November 4), you should exercise your right to vote! It's easy to register to vote at the “Get Out the Vote” program.
Election deadlines for 2025:
- Saturday, October 20: Last day to register to vote, online or by mail. Online registration requires a valid Michigan driver's license or state ID.
- October 21–November 4: Register to vote, in person at your city or township clerk's office. You will need to bring proof of residency.
- Tuesday, November 4: In-person registration is available until 8 p.m. at your city or township clerk's office. You can register to vote, and then vote, on the same day.
