In observance of October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month, HFC and ACCESS are co-hosting an interactive panel discussion about this sensitive topic on Tuesday, October 21, from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m. via Zoom.
The purpose of this panel discussion is to raise awareness and to identify and utilize resources in the community to eliminate domestic violence and assist those who suffer from it. Panelists in this interactive discussion include:
- HFC counselor Dr. Brenda Hildreth
- Members from the ACCESS Survivors of Violence Empowerment Programs
- Members from First Step, the Wayne County-based domestic violence organization
This interactive panel is co-sponsored by HFC Counseling, Campus Safety, and the Student Conduct and Compliance and Title IX office. This event is free and open to the the public.
