Danielle (pronounced “don-yell”) Hall joined HFC in June as Academic Affairs Assistant. She brings more than 20 years of experience as an administrative professional to her role.

"I had accepted another position and was preparing to complete the required physical when I received an offer from HFC,” recalled Hall, of Romulus. “The opportunity to join an educational institution dedicated to empowering students and equipping them with the tools to transform their lives and communities deeply resonated with me. I have a genuine passion for helping others, so I was happy to join the College. The people at HFC have been very helpful and friendly."

“Danielle is warm, welcoming, and open in her interactions with others,” said HFC eLearning Manager Victoria Bessette. “I enjoy working with her.”

Joining HFC at a critical time (and a fellow foodie!)

The eldest of two, Hall was born in Detroit. She is engaged to Ralph Clifton, who works at Rocket Mortgage.

An alumna of Dominican High School in Detroit, Hall earned her associate degree in business management from the Wayne County Community College District (WC3D). She also completed some coursework at Michigan State University and plans to work toward her bachelor’s degree.

Hall also worked in the insurance field for eight years. Prior to joining HFC, she worked as a personal shopper at Macy’s in Southland Mall in Taylor.

At HFC, Hall’s current focus is assisting in rolling out Coursedog, HFC’s new academic scheduling software and academic catalog system that is scheduled to launch in late summer. Her supervisor is HFC Interim Director of Academic Services Bridget Smith-Botos.

“Danielle is joining our team during a critical time,” said Smith-Botos. “Her immediate projects will focus on data entry and data cleanup. She’s also supporting the administrative work of the department. We are really excited to have her join our team. We recently learned that she’s a foodie, so she’ll fit right in with the rest of us!”
