Scholarship application form on desk

HFC students have until Sunday, March 31, to apply for 200 scholarships for the 2024-25 academic year.

More than 200 scholarships in a wide range of disciplines are available for students to apply for, some of which are offering multiple awards! These scholarships are worth a total of more than $300,000. There are no limits on the number of scholarships you can apply for, whether these scholarships are sponsored by HFC or other organizations.

Here are the available scholarships

10 minutes of your time

It takes approximately 10 minutes to fill out HFC’s general scholarship application.

You will also need to complete your Federal Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

These scholarships are provided by private donors and have been set up exclusively for HFC students. These scholarships do not have to be repaid. Donors fund these scholarships to help students in pursuing your educational goals.

Automatic match to scholarships

After you have completed the scholarship application, you are automatically matched to scholarships that meet your eligibility.

Award offers will be made in April and May. Official notification will be sent through HawkMail. Students who are awarded scholarships are asked to provide a letter of thanks to the donor as a condition of accepting the scholarship(s).

Other scholarships you can find

For scholarships beyond what HFC offers, we encourage you to check with your high school counselor, the reference section of a library, or organizations you or your parents may be affiliated with. Internet search engines may help you find many scholarship opportunities. If you are not sure internet-based scholarships are legitimate, ask a counselor or trusted advisor. There are other resources for scholarships offered outside HFC. This includes high schools, places of worship, community civic groups, and employers.
