Volunteers needed for “Good Luck on Finals” event

At HFC, it has become a tradition at the end of every semester for Student Activities to hold a “Good Luck on Finals” event. The Fall 2023 event is scheduled:

Tuesday, December 12
Wednesday, December 13
Thursday, December 14

Cheering on students during finals

“Good Luck on Finals” tables will be reserved in different buildings all over the main campus. Faculty and staff volunteers will be present at the tables, handing out HFC merchandise, snacks, and positive messages for students.

“This is a way for us to support our students and cheer them on during final exams. The more departments that participate, the more impact we make, so please consider hosting a table!” said Student Activities Administrative Assistant Kayla Collins. “You are free to set up at any time during the morning, afternoon, or evening, depending on what works best for your department and when your table receives the most traffic.”

How you can participate

Student Activities is looking for departments to host a table or volunteers to help out at a table.

Hosting a table: Student Activities will reserve the table for you, and your department will be responsible for decorating the table, providing the giveaways, and staffing the table. If your department would like to participate, contact Collins with the date, time, location, and volunteer’s contact information.

Individual volunteers: Volunteer as an individual to help at a table hosted by another department.

Collins will add signups to this spreadsheet, which you can peruse to see which times and locations are already covered. Please sign up for a table no later than Monday, December 4.
