Submit your Engineering Club application by Oct. 30 for Nov. 30 competition

Applications for the HFC Engineering Club Competition are due by Monday, October 30. The competition will be held Thursday, November 30, from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. in the John McDonald Student & Culinary Services Center (Building M on the main campus).

This year’s theme is Mario Kart. Teams of two tofour students will design, equip, wire, and program a robot car. In the competition, the robot cars fight with each other and navigate a path.

“The Engineering Club is a place where students can freely explore their passions, network, gain leadership skills, and make friends. We are proud of the many students who form teams, create things, compete, and advance in their career and education,” said HFC Pre-Engineering Program Director and Engineering Club faculty advisor Dr. Hassan Mohseni Nameghi.

Competition preparation sessions will be held in Room MT-119 of the M-TEC Building (on the East Campus) from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, November 1
  • Monday, November 6
  • Wednesday, November 8
  • Monday, November 13
  • Wednesday, November 15
  • Monday, November 20
  • Wednesday, November 22
  • Monday, November 27
  • Wednesday, November 29
