A group of people in a counseling setting

The Council of World Cultures at HFC is sponsoring an open counseling session for all students on Tuesday, October 24, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Rosenau Rooms of the L Building on the main campus. You may come for the entire session or drop in as you are able.

HFC Student Activities and the HFC Counseling department are co-sponsoring the event. Considering the current climate in the world, we want to reach out to our students and offer space for you to express emotions with our HFC counselors and offer you a place to sit with your peers.

We want all students to know the College is concerned about your well-being. This is an open session. Comments, concerns, and emotions will be expressed and navigated in a group setting. If you need one-on-one counseling, you will have the opportunity to work with a counselor at a later time. The purpose of this event is to recognize our students by letting you know you belong and are valued.

Refreshments will be served.

If you are not able to attend the open session and would like to speak to an HFC counselor, you may ask a question or make an appointment at our Counseling website.
