HFC offers hydration stations on both campuses

Phillip Migliaccio at hydration station
HFC student Phillip Migliaccio refills his water bottle at the hydration station in the Student & Culinary Arts Center (Bldg. M). There are seven hydration stations on the main campus and one on the East Campus.

Due to the efforts of the Sustainable HFC Committee, the College has installed several hydration stations across the Main Campus and one at the East Campus where students and employees can refill their water bottles. Plans are underway to add more hydration stations at both campuses.

In addition to convenience, the core purpose of the hydration stations is to significantly reduce plastic waste. A single hydration station in the Science Building (Bldg. J) was used 7,014 times in its first 10 months, representing 7,014 plastic bottles that never needed to be created and sold.
