U-M postdoc fellow will speak about careers in research

Dr. Hector Mendoza from the University of Michigan.

Dr. Hector Mendoza, a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, will give a presentation on Monday, Oct. 31, from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. in Room J-113 of the Science Building (Bldg. J) on the main campus.

His presentation is called “Identification of an Alternative Component of the Mitochondrial Electron Transport Chain in the Smut Fungus Sporisorium Reilianum.” Mendoza will also speak about his path to a research career, and will take questions.
