HFC Student Activities presents its “Winter 2022 Financial Literacy Series: Money Lessons for Every College Student” series. There will be three financial literacy seminars on Feb. 8, March 22, and April 12.
You may attend any or all of these events. They are all valuable, but they are separate events and do not require attendance at all three.
One: Let’s Create a Budget
The first financial literacy seminar, Let’s Create a Budget, will be Tuesday, Feb. 8, at 3:00 p.m.
In this seminar, you will learn how to create a budget as a money management solution. You will also learn how to track, organize, and manage expenses.

Two: Social Media, Online Banking, and Identity Theft
The second financial literacy seminar, Social Media, Online Banking, and Identity Theft, will be Tuesday, March 22, at 3:00 p.m.
Social media enables identity expression and exploration. Learn how to prevent hackers and identity thieves from gaining access to your personal information. Learn about phishing and confidence scams.

Three: Planning for Retirement: It’s Never Too Early
The third and final financial literacy seminar, Planning for Retirement: It's Never Too Early, will be Tuesday, April 12, at 3:00 p.m.
Plan now to reach your long-term financial goals. The sooner you begin saving, the more time your money has to grow. Learn various techniques of planning for retirement now.
