Engineering competition highlights student creativity

Approximately 200 students in the Introduction to Engineering course will compete in the semi-annual HFC engineering competition on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 10:00 a.m. to noon in the pavilion of the Student & Culinary Arts Center (Bldg. M) on the main campus.

The students will compete in teams to propose an innovative solution to a real-world problem. Fifteen students will also compete in the Engineering Club Water Delivery Robot competition. Alumni from the HFC Pre-Engineering program and industry professionals will serve as judges. The winning teams will receive scholarships.

“We encourage our campus community to come and see the students’ projects,” said HFC Pre-Engineerinng Director Dr. Hassan Mohseni Nameghi.
