Freedom House Detroit is a non-profit organization that gives those seeking asylum a place to call home, a path to independence, and the tools to get there.

The HFC Council of World Cultures (CWC) presents Freedom House Detroit: A Safe Place on Thursday, Oct. 27, from 11 a.m. to noon. This is a virtual event.

Freedom House Detroit is a Detroit-based non-profit organization that supports and empowers asylum seekers on their journey to safety, security, and freedom by providing comprehensive services in an inclusive and welcoming space.

Learn about the refugee crisis and the level of help needed for a safe journey. Representatives will discuss their work at Freedom House Detroit, including its client demographics and the asylum process, and share how supporters can get involved.
