Four members of the HFC Volleyball Team won Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) Eastern Conference Honors for the 2022 season, which concluded in October.

All four players are sophomores:

  • Sydney Murray, outside hitter: Second Team All-Eastern Conference
  • Lauren Hardy, middle blocker: Honorable Mention All-Eastern Conference
  • Alyssa Sanner, setter: Honorable Mention All-Eastern Conference
  • Ellie MacDonald, defensive specialist: Honorable Mention All-Eastern Conference

New head coach Kija Chambers takes great pride in her players’ accomplishments.

“These players were truly leaders on the court this season,” she said. “Each of them made big plays when we needed them and helped keep our energy on the court at a high level. We’re proud to see them recognized with these conference honors.”
