Hand with the word stop printed on the palm.

The Office of Student Conduct, Compliance, and Title IX will join with Hollaback! – a global, people-powered, non-profit organization to end harassment – to host a Zoom webinar on Tuesday, Nov. 16, at 1:00 p.m. called “Stand Up Against Street Harassment.”

Earlier in 2021, Hollaback!, L’Oréal Paris, the New York City (NYC) Commission on Gender Equity, and the NYC Mayor's Office to End Domestic and Gender-Based Violence teamed up to ensure everyone’s self-worth, leveraging Hollaback!’s 5D’s methodology to help people safely intervene when they experience or witness harassment in public spaces.

During this hour-long training session, a clear, adaptable, and expert-approved set of tools that have been proven to reduce the prevalence of street harassment will be used. The goal of this program is to train 40,000 people before the end of 2021 and ultimately build a culture where street harassment is seen as unacceptable behavior. The latter also applies to the HFC community.

Please register in advance for this training

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the training seminar.
